Well this is gonna be an interesting thing. Thirteen is such an iconic number. It’s a number that people immediately associate with bad luck and things of the like. But are there a lot of 13 songs? There’s a song by +44 that I’ve never heard. And there’s one by Big Star that I’ve never heard. So what the hell do I do??? Well, the sixth album from Blur was named 13. Why is it called 13? Many think it’s really “B” for Blur, just badly drawn and they ran with it. I honestly don’t have much to say about it, since it has been an eon since I heard this one. It came out in 1999 and it was the different Blur album. Blur had come out with the s/t album in 1997 which had “M.O.R.”, “Beetlebum” and “Song 2”. This one came out and they went in an entirely different direction. It was different but a good different.
