It’s new theme time. As most of my readers already now, I’m part of the musical community known as Songfight. Songfight has produced a lot of great music over the last 6 years. But there is one thing it hasn’t produced…a lot of music videos. A lot of the musicians of SF are mysterious folks. I do a yearly top 200 countdown and often that’s the first time some Songfighters get to see what some of the other Songfighters look like. I am a firm believer that music videos are a great way to increase the musical experience. Often SF’ers are happy just to be heard. They don’t feel the need to go to the next step but every once in a while, a music video for a Songfight song is made and I’m going to talk about a few. And I’m going to start off with the video that inspired this theme. Phil Redmon is better known around Songfight as Abominominous. Songfight doesn’t always have a lot of hard rock and that’s where he comes in. He brings the rock that the place needs and always in full force.
