Today, I’m cheating. Usually, I talk about some piece of history that I find fascinating or incredibly significant. Today’s blog is about an earthquake. In 464 BCE, an earthquake hit Sparta. Was it a gigantic earthquake? Not particularly. Was it significant? In some ways. The Spartans had slaves, the Helots, and when the earthquake hit, they decided to use the disarray to their advantage and make an uprising. But more than that? It was a precursor to the Peloponnesian War but other than that…not really. So, why do I wanna talk about it? Because this song is just so badass:

Song 925- “Earthquake” by Little Boots

A little piece of electro-pop joy.
